天王寺動物園は、内国勧業博覧会跡地に大正4(1915)年に開園した、日本有数の歴史をもつ動物園。 約180種1000点の動物が飼育され、 夏には夜間に見学できるイベントナイト200も開催される。
Tennoji Zoo is one of Japan's leading zoos with a rich history, having opened in 1915, during the fourth year of the Taisho era, on the site of the National Industrial Exhibition. It houses about 1,000 animals of approximately 180 species, and also holds over 200 event nights where visitors can observe the animals at night during the summer.
