両国国技館 | Ryōgoku Kokugikan

両国国技館は、東京都墨田区にある屋内競技場です。日本の国技である相撲の聖地として有名であり、大相撲東京場所が年に3回開催されます。また、多目的なイベントにも利用されます。入口には昔の取り組みの様子を描いた絵画や優勝杯などが展示されており、併設の相撲博物館では、錦絵や番付、化粧廻しなど相撲に関する資料が収集・展示されています。

Ryogoku Kokugikan is an indoor arena located in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. It is famous as the holy site of Japan's national sport of sumo, and the Grand Sumo Tournament is held three times a year at this venue. It is also used for various other events. At the entrance, paintings depicting past sumo matches and championship trophies are displayed, and the adjacent Sumo Museum collects and exhibits materials related to sumo, such as ukiyo-e prints, banzuke (ranking sheets), and kesho-mawashi (ceremonial aprons).
