高尾山は、都心からアクセスがよく、年間を通じて多くの観光客や登山者でにぎわう。 標高は599mで山頂から富士山や丹沢山系の山々を一望できる。古くから修験道の霊場とされた。日本の東京都八王子市にある標高599メートルの山で、日本の信仰の対象となっている寺社仏閣が点在し、登山客にも人気のある観光スポットです。高尾山薬王院や高尾山不動院、高尾神社などがあり、それぞれに歴史や伝承があります。ケーブルカーやリフトのほか数多い登山ルートも魅力。山麓から山頂まで多くのルートがあり、初心者から上級者まで、様々なレベルのハイカーに対応しています。山頂からは、天気が良ければ東京湾や富士山などの景色が見渡せるため、景色を楽しみながら登山をすることができます。
