大山阿夫利神社は、標高1252mの大山は古代より山岳信仰の対象で、江戸時代には大山詣でが庶民に大ブームとなった。 山頂に阿夫利神社の本社が鎮座、 中腹の下社まではケーブルカーで登れる。 参詣本道はこま街道と呼ばれ、名産の大山こまを売る店や名物の豆腐料理店が並ぶ。
Mt. Daisen Shrine Oafuri is located at an altitude of 1,252m, and since ancient times, Mt. Daisen has been an object of mountain worship. In the Edo period, the Daisen pilgrimage became a big boom among the common people. The main shrine of Oafuri Shrine is located at the summit, and you can take a cable car to the lower shrine halfway up the mountain. The main pilgrimage route is called Koma Road, and there are shops selling specialty Daisen koma and famous tofu restaurants lining the street.

Take a bus from Odakyu Isehara Station to Daisen Cable Station for about 25 minutes and get off. From the foot of the mountain station, about a 15-minute walk away, take the Daisen cable car to the mountain top station and get off, then it's just a short walk away.
