明治44(1911)年に建造された石造りの車両基地。 SL人吉(2022年4月現在運休中) の運行日は、車庫脇にある転車台で方向転換する蒸気機関車を見ることができる。
This is a stone-built train depot constructed in 1911 during the Meiji period. It is possible to see the steam locomotive used for the SL Hitoyoshi (currently not in operation as of April 2022) turn around on the turntable located next to the depot on operating days.
