大江教会は、フランス人宣教師ガルニエ神父らによる、 昭和8(1933)年建造のロマネスク様式の教会。 禁教令が解かれてから天草で最初に建てられた教会で、 白亜の優美な姿で建っている。
Oe Church is a Romanesque-style church built in 1933 by French missionary Father Garnier and others. It was the first church built in Amakusa after the ban on Christianity was lifted and stands gracefully in white.
