店舗の説明
天草キリシタン館では、キリシタン弾圧に使われた踏み絵や潜伏キリシタンが守り通したマリア観音などの貴重な資料を展示。 国指定重要文化財の天草四郎陣中旗も期間を限定して定期的に公開されている。

At the Amakusa Christian Museum, valuable materials such as fumi-e (a Christian image or symbol used during the persecution of Christians in Japan) and the Maria Kannon (a statue of the Virgin Mary with a hidden cross inside) that were protected by the hidden Christians are exhibited. The Amakusa Shiro's Battle Flag, a nationally designated important cultural property, is also periodically displayed for a limited time.
