天草五橋は、九州本土の三角から天草諸島を北から結ぶ5つの橋。 1号橋と5号橋の間の約12kmの区間は、 真珠の養殖が盛んだったことから天草パールラインと呼ばれている。
The Amakusa Gokyo bridges are a set of five bridges that connect the Amakusa Islands from the north to the mainland Kyushu's triangle. The approximately 12km section between the first and fifth bridges is known as the Amakusa Pearl Line because pearl farming used to be prevalent in the area.
