和布刈公園は、九州北端の瀬戸内海国立公園内に位置し、 対岸に本州を望む面積約37ヘクタールの公園。 展望台からは急流が渦巻く関門海峡や雄大な関門橋、行き交う船などを間近に眺められる。 関門橋のライトアップと門司港レトロなど日本夜景遺産認定の夜景も見事。
Located within the Seto Inland Sea National Park at the northernmost point of Kyushu, the Mekari Park is a 37-hectare park that overlooks Honshu on the opposite shore. From the observation deck, visitors can enjoy a close-up view of the Kanmon Strait, where rapid currents swirl, as well as the magnificent Kanmon Bridge and passing ships. The night view of the Kanmon Bridge and the retro buildings of Moji Port, both designated as Japan's Night View Heritage Sites, are also stunning.
