江ノ電は、鎌倉から長谷、 七里ガ浜、江の島を経て藤沢を結ぶ。 沿線に名所旧跡が多いだけではなく、走る姿そのものが湘南を代表する風景。 世界的人気のアニメ 『SLAM DUNK』 のオープニングでは海に面した踏切を走り過ぎる電車が描かれ、国際的にも有名になった。 稲村ヶ崎駅から腰越駅間は海沿いを走り、 車窓が美しい。鎌倉から長谷や江の島方面へ、江ノ電を使った観光には1日乗り放題の乗車券のりおりくん(800円) がお得。 電車の利用だけでなく、沿線施設には提示で割引があるところも。
