臥龍山荘は、明治時代の豪商、河内寅次郎が建てた数寄屋造りの庵そのものを船に見立てて作られた臥龍淵の崖の上に建つ不老庵など、 肱川を借景にした庭園と細部に至るまで匠の技を残した建築が美しい。
