砥部町は約100の窯元を擁する国の伝統的工芸品・砥部焼の里。 砥部町陶芸創作館では気軽に陶芸体験ができる。 絵付け体験のほか、 土を摘んだり広げたりして器や置物を作る手びねり体験、 電動ロクロを 使用して器を作るロクロ体験の3つを用意。手厚くサポートしてくれるので初心者でも気軽に参加できる。

Tobe-cho is a town known for its Tobe-yaki, a traditional craft of Japan, with approximately 100 kilns in the area. At Tobe-cho Pottery Creation Museum, visitors can easily experience pottery making. There are three types of experiences available: painting, hand-building by picking up and spreading clay to make dishes or figurines, and using an electric potter's wheel to create pieces. The staff provides thorough support, so even beginners can participate without hesitation.
