大牟田市は、 三井三池炭鉱を中心に石炭産業で栄えた歴史をもつ町。ここでは、近代日本の発展を陰で支えてきた石炭産業の歴史を楽しく学ぶことができる。 見どころは迫力満点のダイナミックトンネルと呼ばれる模擬坑道。 体験コーナーも充実している。
Omuta City is a town with a history of prospering in the coal industry, centered around the Mitsui Miike coal mine. Here, you can enjoy learning about the history of the coal industry that supported the development of modern Japan from behind the scenes. One of the main attractions is a simulated mine tunnel called the "Dynamic Tunnel" that is full of power and excitement. There are also plenty of interactive experiences available.
