江戸時代に柳川藩を治めていた立花家の別邸として築かれてから約300年の歴史がある御花。 明治期に造られた名勝松濤園や迎賓館の西洋館な久留米と筑後エリアどが現存。 本館の大広間や立花家史料館は見学可。 また、名物うなぎのせいろ蒸しを楽しめる料亭もある。
Gokan has a history of about 300 years, having been built as a villa for the Tachibana family, who ruled the Yanagawa Domain during the Edo period. The Western-style buildings of the Meiji era, such as the famous Matsutao Garden and the State Guest House, still exist in the Kurume and Chikugo areas. The main hall's grand hall and the Tachibana family archives are open to visitors. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy the famous dish of steamed eel in a basket.
