福岡市博物館は、地域の歴史と民俗を研究・展示する博物館として平成2(1990)年に開館。 常設展示は11のコーナーに分かれており、そのいちばん最初に国宝金印「漢委奴国王」を展示 している。 11番目のテーマ、 博多祇園山笠では博物館のために特別につくられた舁き山、 軍師官兵衛之勲も必見。
Fukuoka City Museum is a museum dedicated to researching and exhibiting the history and folklore of the region. It was opened in 1990. The permanent exhibition is divided into 11 sections, with the first section showcasing the national treasure "Kan'nonkyo King of Han". The 11th section focuses on the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival, and features the unique "katsugi-yama" portable shrine created specifically for the museum, as well as the "Gunsai Kanbee no Kun" exhibit.
