九州国立博物館は、「日本文化の形成を、アジア史的観点から捉える」という独自のコンセプトを掲げ、 平成17(2005)年に開館した全国4番目の国立博物館。 メインとなるのは、4階に設けられた文化交流展示室で、 日本とアジアやヨーロッパ諸国との文化交流の歴史を紹介。 「海の道、アジアの路」 をテーマに、旧石器時代から江戸時代まで5つの時代に分け、 それぞれの文化交流を物語る作品を展示している。いろいろな国の「いろ」「かたち」 「もよう」 「におい」 を五感で楽しむ入場無料の体験型展示室、 あじっぱはファミリーに人気。
The Kyushu National Museum is the fourth national museum in Japan, which opened in 2005 with a unique concept of "capturing the formation of Japanese culture from an Asian historical perspective". The main exhibition is located on the 4th floor in the cultural exchange exhibition room, which introduces the history of cultural exchange between Japan and other Asian and European countries. With the theme of "The Sea Route, The Asian Road," the exhibition is divided into five periods from the Paleolithic era to the Edo period, showcasing works that tell the story of each cultural exchange. The free-entry experiential exhibition room called "Ajippa" allows visitors to enjoy the "colors," "shapes," "patterns," and "scents" of various countries with their five senses, making it popular among families.
